11:22 pm - JIVELOX

jivelox

This work was developed under an umbrella of all transformation produced inside me by the cultural differences between Moscow and Belém.
During the years in Amazonia, I lived with the beauty of the rustic in its more primitive and divine forms, bud it was the skills of mine provided by the P.I Tchaikovsky conservatory that the richness of the enormous nature surrounds me was translated into music.
Finally, the name chosen, Jivelox, is a neologism, an assemblage of the word Jiv-living, root part of LIFE, in Russian-and-Velox- fast in latin-it’s a way of saying intense life.

It’s 5 from 15 compositions of album

2:18 pm - Amazing show! OMG!

phreektone

Flint Blade is solo guitarist who plays his guitar like a piano, making sweet ethereal jazz, ambient, and electronica sounds. the respectable 21st century one-man-band... in the way that a concert pianist could be considered a one-man band of the 20th century. Go to the website for vids and mp3s.

Alexx Calise is a singer/songwriter with soulful, bluesy, and rocking songs. She's a powerhouse all by herself. She'll be playing solo acoustic at this performance.

4:08 pm - Analog Missionary Tonite!

godsmonkey
How many bands can you think of that have a stickist and a theremin player in it? If you live in the West Palm Beach area, you should check them out;

If anyone wants to say hi, or stop by and hang during the show, I'd be glad to meet you. If you can't make it, you'll be missing out on a cool band. See the info below for details.

1:40 am - Sorry if this gets X-posted to hell.

make_the_time
I'm new to the "305" area and am in search of a band, or just a group of people to jam with. I have played guitar for 3 years and have been in a couple of groups back home. I listen to many different kinds of music along the lines of Radiohead, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Interpol, The Mars Volta, Joy Division, The Beatles, Sigur Ros. You can IM me on my AIM screename

AM I AN AMNESIAC

if you want to talk more about this. Any group would be much appreciated. I am located on SW 28th Road, (something near by prefered since I'm 15 and can't drive by myself yet) I don't know much about the South Florida area, but I could possibly get rides and such. I have set equipment, but I might need a week or 2 to pick it up. My effects style revolves around delays, reverbs, and sometimes distortion. I have a half stack for equalizing with drums, and own several guitars, all I need is a group. Thank you, comment or IM please.

Guitar/musical influences: Tony Iommi, Ed O' Brien, Jonny Greenwood, Kurt Cobain, James Patrick Page, Thom Yorke, John Lennon, George Harrison, David Gilmour, B.B. King, Wes Montgomery, Omar Rodriguez, Ian Curtis

Does anyone know the number or email or website for a club in the design district called 'reverb'? I called 411 and gave them the address but there was no number listed. Also, has anyone checked out a place called crown and royale?

NO COVER at any of these gigs!!

About me (Flint Blade)
I play ethereal jazz and jazz standards on a 14-string guitar using the two-handed tapping method of playing, which amounts to playing a bass or rhythm line with one hand, and the melody or harmony with the other hand. My originals are all instrumental to date.
Here's my guitar:

Check out some MP3s and videos and whatnot on my website, www.flintblade.com
